Clinical, Laboratory & Research applications

The instantaneous imaging by Flash Pathology is being developed with replacing traditional H&E staining and existing ROSE techniques such as frozen section in mind.

With its extreme time saving whilst leaving the live tissue unaffected, the application of this technology will become abound:

  • We are exploring the technology as an intermediate diagnostic step by assessing the tissue sample for its representativeness in further diagnostic analysis, like molecular techniques

  • Research is being done to utilise the technology for a full patho-histological diagnosis at Point-of-Care or in a laboratory setting.

  • In future, the technology could be utilised to perform a (over) time-effect analysis of reagents on the same living cells in its morphologic settings.
